View from the top of Windy Peak (elev. 4,934') south of Applegate Lake, Oregon but on the California side.  Summit views look south towards the snowy Red Buttes Wilderness as well as the eastern & western Siskiyous.  North is the Applegate River Valley.  An old fire lookout once adorned the summit, today it is covered in manzanitas & rusted nails and other metal artifacts.
