A 250' aerial view overlooking the town of Tehama, California along the Sacramento River.  The name is derived from the Wintun word for "high water".  Mapped out in 1850, the city peaked in the 1890s w/ a population of nearly 2,000.  Incorporated on July 5, 1906, the 2019 population estimate is around 373 people.
