白茶祖：
浙江省湖州市安吉县，天荒坪镇大溪村横坑坞村民小组桂家场，是黄浦江源头所在地。在海拔800米的深山密林间，桂全宝一家守护着一颗千年野生白茶树。1980年县林科所发现这棵白茶树后开始保护性培育，1982年无性繁殖成活288支，至1990年县林科所建立白茶基地5.6亩，1992年农科院主持实施《安吉白茶特异性状鉴别与利用》课题，1997年底完成课题研究，1999年安吉白茶荣获国际名茶金奖，自此安吉白茶蜚声海内外。而江浙等地培育的所有白茶树均出自这颗千年白茶树，故名“白茶祖”。
