The Viaduct Basin is part of the Auckland waterfront that was redeveloped when New Zealand hosted the Americas Cup, and the area continues to be developed by the Council. From here you can see high rises that make up inner Auckland and the inverted needle that is the Skye Tower, the yachts of the those who have too much money, North Wharf and the Viaduct Events Centre.
