Basilica Visigoda
Extremadura

Santa Lucia is the church Trampal most complete of its kind. The place of the Trampal is located in a place near the town of Caceres Alcuéscar, only four kilometers from the Roman road called Via de la Plata, which bears the same route as the old road from Merida to Caceres, replaced by new highway that passes a few hundred meters west. It is possible that a branch of this ancient road was diverted towards Trujillo Trampal going through the same or very close to him. Located in a pasture that still stands as of old and deserves to be preserved as best as possible. Getting to the temple from Alcuéscar is very easy, just exit the Fountain Street and follow a narrow road, but paved. A little over 2 miles you can see the church. Details GPS: UTM coordinates: X: 740120.48 Y: 4337620.43; geographical SIGPAC: latitude 39 º 9 '14.5 "N, longitude 6 º 13' 16.5" W (39 º 9 '10.10 "N, 6 º 13' 21 , 20 "W Google Earth). Altitude: 460 meters above sea level. Alcuéscar Distance to center: 3810 meters
