Drought in California has affected Yosemite's in many ways this year. We hoped to shoot Horse Tail Falls (the last two weeks in February) at sunset. The angle of the sun on the falls create a natural Fire Fall. I came to cross-county ski to Dewey Point, because of the lack of snow and warm temperatures, our trip became a backpack. We hiked from Tunnel View via the Pohono Trail to Dewey Point.
