This is the site where Ann Jones Inn stood, before it was burnt down in the siege of Glenrowan. The Kelly Gang met their end here. Joe Bryne was shot during the siege. Ned Kelly was captured alive and hung in Melbourne Gaol. Dan Kelly and Steve Hart died in the inn and were burnt in the fire.
