Malcesine is one of the gateways to the surrounding mountains which are up to 2200m high. From Malcesine you can take a gondola up to Monte Baldo.

It is an area for all kinds of sports from watersports (surfing, rowing, sailing) to mountain and road biking as well as hiking and climbing.
