This was taken from a point of land above the top of the funicular that runs from the Monastery at Montserrat. The elevation is over 1000 meters. Surrounding land is only a few meters above sea level. This is in a National Park, with trails leading off in various directions, different lengths and difficulty. The rock peaks themselves need climbing gear to be safe. This mountain was named because of the jaggedness of its spine, the serrations.
