The Plattjen mountain is reached on foot via the Waldweg which starts next to the playing fields, close to the Felskinnbahn in Saas Fee. It is also reached via the Plattjen cable car. At the end of the cable car there is the mountain restaurant Plattjen Terminus where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Mischabel chain, which includes peak Dom, the highest peak in Switzerland at 4,545 meters and the third highest peak in the Alps, after Mont Blanc and Monte Rosa. Here at Plattjen the view is stunning, which delights hiking enthusiasts and via ferrata enthusiasts, in particular, who fully enjoy it here.
