A 300' aerial view overlooking the northeast part of Quartzsite, Arizona from above the Town Park. Incorporated in 1989, it has a 2020 estimated population of 2,413 & serves as a pitstop along Interstate 10 between Los Angeles & Phoenix. In the late 1800s the area was a stage station known as Tyson's Wells & was described as uninviting & unclean. Today it is a haven for mainly retired folks who live up north & frequently stay the winter here in their travel campers, known as "snowbirds". Most of them leave during the summer months where temperatures have soared above 120*F.
