the mist cloaks the bush like a bridal veil, then blocks out the world outside the valley, making you feel that the world consists of a distance between yourself and the station. There is a beauty in the muted colours of the moss, the stones and the white of the water spilling down the face of the dam.
This is also the start of kayaking and river-rafting adventures which should be experienced, not read about.
