The small village of Buangor is located on the Western Highway approx. 180km north-west of Melbourne between Mount Buangor, Mount Cole and Mount Langi Ghiran. A historic Cobb&Co change station is a reminder of the thriving coaching business in the late 1800s when Buangor was the first and biggest community in the area. An annual scare crow competition, an art gallery, a windfarm and State Parks are the main attractions of the area.
