Found just off the A836 , Strathy Beach is one of the best beaches found on the north coast of Scotland .

Having a huge sandy beach , high cliffs on the east side including several caves along this side and the River Strathy on the opposite west side .

It is very popular during the summer months for tourists and also for dog-walkers all year round .
