Tumulus B of Boixe
France

The tumulus B of Boixe is a double siding tumulus built dry stone and measuring 90 m in diameter and 3 meters high.

The entrance opens onto a long hallway. On the right at the beginning of the corridor, a small room is accessible.
The end of the hallway leads, to the center, at a large rectangular room megalithic. From this large room, another small square chamber is accessible through an opening.
The necropolis of Boixe is a set of megaliths composed especially of the dolmen B of Boixe, of the tumulus B of Boixe and of the tumulus C of Boixe, located at a place called the Combe du Rut in the forest of Boixe, on the commune of Vervant in the Charente, and of the dolmen A of Boixe, or Stone of the sacrifice, in the municipality of Cellettes.
The necropolis of Boixe was listed historic monument by decree of 22 April 1991.
