Villanueva de la Serena
Extremadura

Enclavada en la comarca de Vegas Altas, a puertas de la comarca de La Serena (e históricamente perteneciente a ella) y a escasos 5 km. de la vecina Don Benito, ha dado lugar junto con ésta una nueva aglomeración urbana de relevancia en toda la región con una población de unos 60.000 habitantes, formando un centro agrícola, industrial y de servicios con una gran influencia tanto a nivel comarcal como regional.
