This volcano is in South America in the eastern cordillera of Ecuador exactly in the province of Tungurahua in the center of the country. It is an active volcano that is 5,023 meters high, the Indians refer to this volcano as "Mama Tungurahua" and the volcano is part of the Sangay national park.
