The Yong'an Recreational Park is designed with an image and concept that symbolize the grouper. This is because the output of grouper in the district accounts for a quarter of the national output, accumulating a value of up to over 69 million USD. For this reason, Yong'an District is also called "home to the groupers". Established in 2005, the park can be said an epitome of the life in the district. The floor of the plaza is a collage in the colors of fish scales, and the performance stage is a shape of a grouper. The "fin" and fishtail connects to the children' playground, the skating field, and other sports facilities. Mangrove and aquaculture can also be found in the vicinity of the park.
