View from the top of Pt. 8,122 (elev. 8,122') near Grass Lake, California.  The mountain is forest-covered all the way to the summit & sits adjacent to the nearby higher mountain called The Whaleback.  From here above the trees one gets a nice view of Mt. Shasta to the south though it is mostly in the clouds.  To the west is the Shasta Valley, to the north is Goosenest & Herd Peak & to the east is Haight Mountain & Ash Creek Butte.
