Permanently closed, the Armenian church in Iasi was restored in 1803. Some believe the church dates to the 14th c. with a brick found dated 1395. There were conflicting calendars used so no one can say for certain.
In the back just visible behind some of the trees are ancient headstones lined against the wall. The church has three bells one dated 1607.
It is registered as an historic monument and is at 22 Armeana street in Iasi.
