Each year at the Cabbagetown Art and Crafts fesival at Riverdale Farm, the surrounding neighbourhoods put out items on their lawns for sale. Parliament Street to the west is shut down to vehicular traffic and is lined with ethnic food stalls.

The festival runs the second weekend in September, this year Saturday was pretty much rained out from the remnants of hurricain Isaac, but Sunday's weather was great.
