Both the front of the apse and the vault are covered with paintings of late fifteenth century organized in frames forming one of the best collections of Gothic mural paintings in Cantabria.

They represent scenes from Passion, death and resurrection of Christ, descent into hell and scenes of other saints as St.Eulalia, Santiago, St.Michel and St.Sebastian.
