This is Mesa Arch in the Canyonlands National Park. Unlike the many Arches in the neighboring Arches National Park, Canyonlands only has this one Arch, but it is a remarkable one as well. You get extremely close to it and the view through the Arch into the Canyon is unique.
Canyonlands National Park for me is a kind of Grand Canyon "light". It is surely not as big as the Grand Canyon, but it unveils similar views and it is much easier to experience. And of couse it is not as packed as Grand Canyon in respect of number of visitors.
A visit to Canyonlands can be easily combined with Arches National Park which is right "around the corner", but you will need a full day just for visiting the easy to get areas.
