The cathedral of Huelva, it is since March 15, 1954. It began its construction in 1602 and was finalized in 1612, by order of Alonso Pérez de Guzmán, VII Duke of Medina Sidonia, lord of Huelva, at that time. It was reformed in several occasions with what its original aspect modified in the time. The main entrance faces the Plaza de la Merced.
