龙须村：
龙川、龙须、龙麓三个自然村隔着一条登源河，形成一个“品”字。
从龙川村东出村，沿登源河东岸上行三里左右，就到了龙须村。这是一个自然村，三、四十户人家，一二百人口，与龙川村隔河相望，是龙川村委会的一个村民组。小村名字的由来，据《安徽省绩溪县地名录》载：“村庄座落于龙须山次峰之麓，故名。”龙须山有大小二峰，大峰即主峰，叫龙峰，次峰叫白沙峰，白沙峰与龙峰一起，形如苍龙奔腾飞跃，其上遍生龙须草，是造纸的极好原料。
当地人说，在龙川、龙须、龙麓三个村中，龙须村历史市最久的。“先有龙须汪，后有龙麓方，再按着龙川胡”。亦即龙川最早住的是汪氏，登源汪与龙川胡相比，算是当地土著后裔，而胡姓则是后来中原南迁者，两者历史相差较远，并且龙须胡是从龙川迁到龙须村的。宋元以后，龙川胡姓人丁大发，而龙须村汪姓则渐次外迁减少了，故龙川胡姓迁移龙须村也就自然了。现在，龙须村周围的山场田地很多是龙川村人家的，龙川胡姓的祖茔也大多埋于龙须村附近的龙须山之中。
