Sunset view from Gold Digger Pass west of Tulelake, California.  Most of the junipers in the area were hit by the Antelope Fire which brushed through this area in September 2021, originating south of Tennant & burning 145,632 acres.  Since this region is all volcanic & contains no gold, this small pass must have been named after the other meaning of the term.  Knedyl in this photo is over 14 years old now, having lost a lot of hearing the past year & still able to do walks, but he no longer runs ahead anymore.
