A look at Cherry Creek Canyon in the Emigrant Wilderness near Cherry Lake, California.  The entire region is a spectacular glacial-sculpted landscape of granite slopes & domes while the creek meanders through creating canyons & potholes.  The canyon is best known by kayakers for its Class V rapids.  Seen here is a deep cut in the bedrock w/ very pronounced glacial grooves across the way.
