The Herzogenhorn is with 1415m the second highest mountain in the Black Forest nature park in the state of Baden Württemberg in the south-west of Germany.
The Herzogenhorn offers hikers uninterrupted breathtaking views over the Black Forest nature park, the northern Swiss Alps and the French Vosges.
The treeless summit is only accessible on foot, mountain bike or nordic skis in winter. Access tracks exist from Bernau-Hof in the south, the nearby mountain Feldberg in the north, the Krunkelbachhütte in the south-east, and the villages Menzenschwand in the north-east and Todtnau in the north-west.
