几年前在偶然中发现离昆明市区不远的花庄河苗寨，很惊异这里居然不通水电，村民住在很显得简陋和陈旧的农舍里，茫然地面对未来，几年间，村里就修了水泥路，然后在电视台的关注下，这里通电了…… 而一切变得很多，以前来村里都很少有人，这次到这里看到村民聚集在水边盛装歌舞，问了一下说是画面中的红衣小孩过生日，看样子有了电以后外出的村民都更愿意回家来了。而他们的快乐可以渲染到我这个旁观者，看得出来应该他们对自己的生活感觉到很幸福。
