This pano features the city of Ioannina as it is viewed from the village of Ligkiades. The village was wiped out by the Germans in 1943 who assassinated 92 people. N NW is the airport of Ioannina and the beginnings of a storm coming towards Ioannina. The island in the Lake Pamvotis is permanently inhabited and accessible only by boat.
