Jhongliao Mountain sits at the junction of Tianliao and Cishan. From here, one can catch sight of Tianliao and Gangshan in the west, Ligang and Cishan in the east, downtown Kaohsiung City in the south, and Tainan City in the north. Transmission towers and antennas are installed everywhere at the top of Jhongliao Mountain. Mist and fog from Cishan often flow over Yanchao and Tianliao due to the special topography. One can get a full view of the picturesque landscape when glancing down from the lookout at the mountaintop.
