Embark on an adventure along Bulgaria's longest chairlift, stretching an impressive 3,990 meters! This engineering marvel consists of two parts:
The first part starts near Sopot's outskirts, by the Sopot Monastery of the Ascension, and climbs to "Pochivaloto," covering a height difference of 832 meters. It was built in 1980, spanning 2,630 meters, and takes 22 minutes to ride at 2 m/s. It can carry 300 people per hour with 101 seats.
The second part runs from "Pochivaloto" to the "Nezabravka" Hut area. Constructed after 1989, it spans 1,360 meters and takes 15 minutes to ride at the same speed. It can accommodate 250 people per hour with 55 seats. Currently, this section is undergoing renovations for an even better experience!
