The Romanesque loggia, which leads to the entrance of the church of San Pietro in Portovenere, has four colonnaded openings and presents construction elements from the Roman era. The first Romanesque appearance of 1198 was followed by the Gothic part with a black and white band covering dating back to the 13th century.
