We arrive at the hill where the church is located after a 4.5-km course on the dirt road turning right just before entering Özlü Neighborhood, which is located 17 km to the northwest of Mut District, Mersin. A forest observation tower is situated higher on the hill. The elevation of the settlement is about 1350 m. It is located 15 km to the south of Alahan Monastery. The settlement was founded on the southeast-northwest axis. While only the fundamentals survived from the apse of the church, the small chamber on the left of the apse is relatively in better condition. Lintels of the doors are decorated with the relief of a cross and a wreath surrounding it. Different craftsmanship characteristics are detected in construction of the buildings. Another structure looks like a regular rectangular from the outside; yet, there is a trikonchos in the form of a trefoil built inside it. The main trikonchos building is located on the east of the church.
