Ein Wanderweg der Besinnung, führt im weiten Bogen zur und um die traditionsreiche „Frauenstein-Kapelle" auf den Höhenrücken „Die Öde" und den Kaltenberg. Der Wanderer erklimmt, stetig aufwärts, die Höhen des alten Buchenwaldes, genießt herrliche Ausblicke auf den Urlaubsort Ringelai und den „Schmalzdobl". Besinnlich wirkt der gepflegte „Kreuzweg" mit seinen 12 christlichen Stationen, von denen einige mit Ruhebänke bestückt sind. Ziel dieses Weges ist die hübsche kleine „Frauenstein - Kapelle", welche Zeugnis ablegt, von der Volksfrömmigkeit der bayerischen Bevölkerung.
