Milan: Via Mercanti and the Old City Hall (Broletto)
Milan

The short Via Mercanti with the attached "Piazza dei Mercanti", Merchants Square, is one of the most important areas in Milan, connecting Piazza del Duomo with Piazza Cordusio. It contains many well preserved monuments of the medieval center of the city. The 360 photo opens to the "Palazzo dei Giureconsulti", Palace of Lawyers, built in 16-17th centuries with a clock tower, today housing offices of the Chamber of Commerce. On the opposite side is the "Palazzo della Ragione, Broletto Nuovo", the medieval Old City Hall, whose construction dates back to 13th century: it is considered the most important civil building of the middle age in Milan. Other antique constructions complete this fascinating area.

The city is currently undergoing an architectural renaissance, which will culminate in a new skyline for the Expo 2015, which will be hosted in Milano. Visitors can take advantage of an extensive public transportation system, which includes metro, buses, trolleys and trams.
