The Mocho-Choshuenco volcano is located in the Los Ríos Region, in southern Chile. It is an active volcano that reaches a height of 2,442 meters above sea level and is surrounded by native forests, lakes and crystalline rivers.
To reach the Mocho-Choshuenco volcano you must go to the city of Panguipulli and take route CH-203 to Villarrica National Park. From there, you can take route S-905 or a boat tour to reach the base of the volcano. Remember that this is a high-risk activity and it is recommended to do it with a specialized guide and the proper equipment.
