Mount Tai Meteorology station (418) 泰山气象站

泰山气象站:

    泰山气象站的前身是日观峰气象台,于1936年启用,1937年12月因日寇入侵被迫停止运行。1953年9月华东军区气象处在日观峰气象台旧址重建气象站,称“中国人民解放军山东军区泰山气象站”,10月1日正式开始观测。8天后改属山东省人民政府管辖,称“山东省泰山气象站”至今。

    1983年10月,安设了探测距离达500公里的713型雷达,1995年对雷达进行了数字化改造,2006年,又安设了新一代多普勒天气雷达,并于2007年正式使用。

    如今泰山气象站享有风云第一哨的美誉,每天有无数的气象数据传向大气中心、民航部门以及国际气象信息中心。
