Located at the end of Orlandostraße in Munich’s Old Town. As the name already indicates, the Platzl is not particularly big. Here the old townhouses are crowded close together. The Platzl is known the world over thanks to the Munich Hofbräuhaus - the famous tavern takes up almost the entire eastern half of the square. Gastronomy has almost always been associated with the Platzl – even the cabaret scene was active here in the 19th century. Today it is characterized above all by the traditional inns and fine restaurants
München ist die bayrische Landeshauptstadt und die drittgrößte Stadt Deutschlands. Sie liegt an der Isar im Norden der bayerischen Alpen
