On the way to the hermitage of San Viviano, Lucca - Tuscany
Toskana

On the way to the hermitage of San Viviano, along the CAI path no. 147 from Campocatino, , this wonderful mountain panorama opens up on the Apuan Alps. The white of the karst rock, the green of the forest and the blue of the sky are an excellent mix held together by the warm light of the August afternoon. We are in Garfagnana area, beautiful Tuscany.

It is in the central Italy and borders with Emilia Romagna (north), Marche and Umbria (east) and Lazio (South). The West coast is bathed from the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Sea; here we can find the islands of the Tuscan archipelago including the island of Elba. The regional capital is Florence and the other provinces are: Arezzo, Grosseto, Livorno, Lucca, Massa, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato and Siena.
