This is a view over Kirkwall bay of a snow shower approaching. This car park is just inside the Hatston industrial estate which was RNAS Sparrowhawk during WWII. The large building on the other side of thee road has been converted to flats but was the egg packing station before battery egg production changed the way eggs were marketed.
