Sant Martí d'Empúries is a town on the Costa Brava, in Catalonia (Spain). The first Greek colony (paleápolis) was established in this place in the 7th century BC. It was the Capital of the Area until the Norman invasions (9th century), the Church is Gothic from the 16th century, and there are remains of the old Castle from the 13th-14th centuries, it also has The Forest House built in 1910 in a Modernist style, for the Hydrological Service and Forestry. The small town is completely restored, forming a unique medieval complex, declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest.
