A view of the Lamarck Col Trail at about 12,000 feet elevation in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Aspendell, California.  The trail has some lingering snow patches w/ suncup formations which are common in these mountains.  They can range from shallow to deep pits that can be helpful if climbing up slick snow but a slipping nuisance on descent.
