A look at Cherry Creek at The Teacups just below the Cherry Bomb Gorge in the Emigrant Wilderness near Cherry Lake, California.  This was a perfect deep swimming hole & place to soak in following a strenuous bushwhack down from nearby Kibbie Ridge.  The canyon is best known by kayakers for its Class V rapids.  Each teacup has a ten foot waterfall dropping into a deep churning pothole w/ the polished shiny granite slick even in dry conditions.
