With a total area of 120 hectares, the Wetland Ecological Park is built along the western side of the Gaoping River stretching from the Gaoping Bridge to the northern beach of the Old Railroad Bridge. The park includes outdoor plaza, constructed wetlands, the aqua space, green landscape, bike lanes and other kinds of facilities, creating beautiful riverside landscape along the Gaoping River. With the structural integrity of a steel bridge, amazingly colorful sunset reflects on the river, the Old Railroad Bridge stand steadily in a backdrop of blue sky and white clouds. The park is not only the best location for outdoor education and eco-tourism in Kaohsiung and Pingtung areas, but also a great attraction for photographers for beautiful shots.
