2010 market the 20th anniversary of the Orkney International Science Festival. The festival is a week long series of talks and exhibitions on a range of subjects from science history to the lates cutting edge research in various topics.

Each year there is a vintage rally which has the twin benefits of showing the history of machinery and providing a nice day out.
