To develop tourist resources and activate local development, Kaohsiung City Government has especially established Cijin Seaside Park for visitors to appreciate the sea views.The park occupies a land of 45 hectares with four different recreational spaces, including the beach, scenic path, cross-country area, and ecological zone, presenting the diversity of the tourist and recreational facilities in Cijin.A visitor information center has been established in particular to serve visitors to the area, and the information on the Seaside Park and other attractions in Cijin are also available on display.Situated on the second floor of the information center is the Seashell Museum which keeps a complete collection of more than 2,000 species of seashells, providing value-added services to visitors.
