泰山无字碑：
泰山玉皇顶玉皇庙门前有一座高6米，宽1.2米，厚0.9米的石碑，石色黄白，形制古朴浑厚。令人费解的是，巨大的石碑上没有一个字，因而被人称为“泰山无字碑”。正因为它没有留下文字，所以此碑究竟是何时、何人、何由所立，便成为千古疑问。
学者认为是秦始皇所立者有之，认为是汉武帝所立者有之，更有甚者说是武则天所立…。众说纷纭，永无穷境。
亦有结论认为所谓泰山无字碑，俗称而已，实为石阙。它是秦始皇封禅坛上北边的石阙。
