Ancient Olive Trees in Rhodes - The Living Monumet of Nature
Greece

The Guardian of the Olive Trees.

Dimitris Koukoulas tirelessly continues to raise awareness of the ecosystem of his native land, Rhodes. A land that offers natural treasures such as these magnificent olive trees. Many are at least 2000 years old and therefore witnesses of bygone eras. The wisdom that emerges from these trees is almost palpable: their trunks twisted by the passage of time represent a clear example of resilience and desire for eternity.

"These are real living sculptures that must absolutely be preserved through shared conversation, education and decisive action", words of Dimitris KouKoulas.
