On of the smaller skiing resorts in carinthia, the Dreilendereck (Tripoint) is located in southern carinthia right next to the borders of Slovenia and Italy. Skier regularly encounter “Warning! National border!”-signs, some of the slope sare right next to the border. Specially near the Tripoint, tracks of the guarding troops are visible in the snow.
